Intermediate Musical Theatre (9-17 yrs)
Senior Musical Theatre (14-21 yrs)

Classes in intermediate musical theatre include: character development, vocal instruction, stage movement, acting techniques, musical theatre scene study, and theatre dance for musicals.

Students work with characters and musical numbers chosen to build their skills and to stretch their ability to work as performers in solo, small group and ensemble situations.

Students study singing, dance and acting. A high degree of skill and discipline are required.

Senior Musical Theatre focuses on increasing participants’ performance skills for communicating a story narrative through the three key components of musical theatre — song, text and movement. Given the wide-ranging demands of contemporary musical theatre productions, the training addresses both the stage and vocal skills required for success in a variety of musical genres.

Over the course of the program, participants will have developed a solid and significant set of skills to accompany their dreams and passion for the stage.
